Mechanism of Action
GLP-1 receptor activation: promotes insulin secretion, inhibits glucagon, and delays gastric emptying
GIP receptor activation: enhances the hypoglycemic effect of GLP-1 and promotes energy consumption in adipose tissue
Central appetite regulation: Acts on the hypothalamic feeding center to reduce hunger
